Let us commit to this habit daily, detailing our beauty regiments to perfection by aiming to drink three or more liters of water a day. Remember, a steady flow of water will help the appearance of our beautiful complexions, enhancing the natural glow which is totally radiant!
You see, the human body contains up to 70% of water and if we avoid paying attention to our fluid intake the largest organ of our body, the skin, will not function at its best. The fact is, if our kidneys and livers are not getting enough water, our skin is more prone to all sorts of skin inflammations. Inadequate amounts of water in our bodies will indeed produce dehydration, and the surface of the skin is inclined to feel dry and itchy. There are no short cuts here! Although drinking water is hydrating, it is not enough to keep the skin’s top layers moist, so we absolutely must still continue to use our moisturizers immediately after each shower to lock in the hydration.
Patience is required Loves, and as always. Our goal- after three to four weeks of sufficiently drinking enough H20, is that we should be able to notice the aspects of hydrated skin: Glow, an evening of color tone, plump, young-looking tissue layers, and overall healthy look.
Bonus: Did you know that we should drink water an hour before and after a meal to allow the body to absorb the nutrients from the food we eat? Yes, it is true, and I encourage you to do so!
