Sweating It Out: A Free Way To Release Toxins

One of the most frowned upon natural bodily functions is SWEATING! While most people may dread sweating, one thing is for certain, it’s totally necessary. Sweating allows your body to release any toxins that may be in your system, ultimately giving you clear, blemish-free skin. Another great way to ensure the toxic release is by consuming a gallon of water each day. If you haven’t already, check out our post on sufficient water consumption HERE. Drinking water and sweating are directly linked because you can’t do much sweating if your water consumption isn’t where it needs to be. So, before you do anything, make sure your body is properly hydrated.

WORK IT OUT

The obvious and most common way to sweat is by working out. This can happen easily with cardio activities like running, hiking, and cycling. Dancing is also an amazing alternative to the other seemingly boring cardio activities. Get up, get your body moving and let the sweat fall!

HEAT IT UP

After that amazing workout takes some time to sit in the sauna or steam room. Both will increase the levels in which you sweat! The sauna is more dry heat and will take longer to make you sweat but when it happens you’ll definitely notice. The steam room is our favorite because the sweating beings the second you enter the room. It’s a very refreshing experience and is the total opposite of the sauna if you aren’t a fan of dry heat.

SLEEP IT OFF

Now that you’ve exercised and kicked your post-workout sweat into overdrive, it’s time to rest your body; but the sweating doesn’t have to stop! On the other hand, if you’re not big on working out and you don’t have access to a sauna or steamer, this is a great option as well. Layer yourself in 2-3 layers of clothing, turn the heat up, and rest. While you may wake up a bit damp, your body just eliminated toxins with no effort from you at all. Easy enough right?
