Spa Water Recipes to Drink by the Pool

Who doesn’t love a good Spa Day?! The thought of warm whirlpools, relaxing massages, and that delicious fruit infused water will have you dreaming about a visit to your nearest salon ready to spend some hard earned coin. But, what if you could bring an element of that environment into your home for less money and just as many benefits? 

Fruit infused water is a healthy, all natural way to give your body the proper amount of water with additional nutrients and detoxing agents. 

One of our favorite spa water recipes is Cucumber and Lemon, with a bit of mint. This amazingly refreshing beverage hydrates your body and skin, helps with digestion, while detoxing your body of toxins. Lemon is a detoxifying agent that cleanses your body while also boosting your immune system. The combination of these three ingredients is a great morning energizer! 

We recommend infusing the ingredients as directed in the recipe below at night and allow it to steep overnight. Water is best consumed at room temperature; be sure to allow your infused water to warm up a bit! 


Cucumber, Lemon, Mint Infused Water Recipe 

(Per three liters of water) 

  • Half a cucumber chopped in medium size rounds
  • Two sliced lemons
  • 10-12 Mint leaves

Infusing fruit such as strawberries and oranges is also a natural sweetener for water. Berries are a great source of antioxidants while citrus fruit provides vitamin C in addition to their succulent and refreshing flavor. Remember, everyone's taste buds are different, you can always refine recipes to your taste and to best impact your body, skin, and overall health. 

Below we have listed some of our favorite infused water recipes to bring you that serene and refreshed feeling you get from the spa; without having to leave your home! (Unless a quick trip to the store is necessary) . 


Minty Watermelon and Cucumber Water

(serves four)

  • 1 cup (250 mL) seeded and cubed watermelon
  • 1 English cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) fresh peppermint leaves
  • 8 cups (2 L) water

Strawberry Kiwi Sensation

(serves four)

  • 1 cup (250 mL) hulled and sliced strawberries
  • 3 kiwis, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) dried hibiscus flowers
  • 2 cups (2 L) water

Place berries and kiwi slices in large pitcher or bowl. Pour water over top. Add hibiscus. Chill in refrigerator for a minimum of an hour.
